Lead Accountant / Chief Accountant

To expand business and presence in Europe Kinze set up modern agricultural equipment factory and operational center for Europe in Lithuania (Kinze Europe UAB).

Main tasks:

Responsible for overseeing accounting functions, coordinating and support junior  accountant. Ensure correctness and completeness of accounting entries for statutory and management reporting. Partly substitute Finance and Accounting Manager for daily operational matters. Interacts with Parent company Finance and Accounting department, other processes inside organization to ensure proper and smooth organization’s accounting processes. Takes over and leads Chief Accountant role in the nearest future.

Professional knowledge:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting, desirably gained in international company (in senior / general ledger / chief accountant, financial specialist or similar role).
  • Good understanding of local accounting standards, tax laws, codes and regulations.
  • Experience in preparation of monthly and annual financial reports is desired.
  • Experience in process development would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of manufacturing business would be an advantage.
  • Advanced computer literacy (very good Excel skills) and knowledge of accounting software.
  • Fluent Lithuanian and very good English skills.
