SCIENTIFIC SALES MANAGER (Diagnostic & Laboratory equipment for Food safety and Life sciences)
LABEMA (www.labema.fi/EN) is a Finnish distribution company specializing in importing, marketing and delivering quality products for microbiology and clinical diagnostics (www.labema.fi/suppliers).
Our clients are food control laboratories, clinical laboratories, research centers, universities, and food or other industries involved in microbiological diagnostics.
Labema’s operations are strongly based on scientific and practical expertise in diagnostic systems and processes with a focus to understand and anticipate customers’ constantly changing needs.
LABEMA is expanding business in Baltics and looking for a new member of the team in Lithuania.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales, expand products market share, find new opportunities, deliver forecast and growth expectations;
- Search for new customers as well as maintain, actively communicate, and develop strong relationship with existing clients by understanding their needs and expectations, support them with the products knowledge;
- Develop partnership with decision makers and key opinion leaders;
- Together with marketing coordinate and develop training, presentation and promotional materials, participate in conferences and trade shows.
Requirements:
- University degree in Food Sciences, Clinical Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Medicine, Veterinary or other related discipline;
- Experience in B2B sales development (desirably gained in diagnostic and laboratory equipment or similar life science products/solutions sphere);
- Knowledge in laboratory diagnostic work in the field of microbiology, molecular biology or similar would be an advantage;
- Scientific approach and product management skills;
- Strong presentation and communication skills;
- Positive attitude, empathy and client orientation;
- Excellent teamwork and organizational skills;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian and English;
- Driving license and willingness to travel in Lithuania.
