Logistics Manager

International logistics and distribution company

International company in the Baltic States recognised as a leading specialized distributor in its business segment.

The company acts as a logistic services provider in supply chain and is in charge of proper receipt, acceptance and warehousing of products, collection of orders and their preparation for dispatch and their further transportation in the Baltics.

In this position, you will be in charge of alignment, coordination and development of logistics operations in Lithuania, and ensure operational logistics excellence.

Main duties:

To organize and oversee daily logistic operations in Lithuania (daily management and development of warehouse activity and distribution processes)
To analyse and propose management solutions regarding logistic work efficiency
To evaluate, select and coordinate outsourced transportation partners
To meet quarterly with pre-wholesale clients for synchronization of their expectations and logistic services
To initiate, manage and develop logistics projects

Requirements:

Experience in logistics management and in depth knowledge of logistic processes (warehouses, supply chain, transportation services etc.)
Analytical, “big picture” thinking combined with operational excellence
Strong skills in problem solving, negotiation, communication
Ability to lead and manage team effectively
Energy and determination to generate results
University degree
English and Russian language skills
